Coming to Baruch, I tried joining many different clubs, but none of them stayed with me. The online environment was a huge barrier, but I think the people there are what makes the difference. Everyone was somewhat grouped with one another and it was hard to participate in their conversations. AKPsi was completely different. I rushed not knowing anything about Greek life nor the possible impact of joining this organization. But, the Brothers here welcomed me with open arms. There were so many opportunities to network, especially in a one-on-one space. I valued every coffee chat I had. The Brothers here are truly inspiring and talented. I wouldn’t be where I am right now without AKPsi. 

I’ve had the opportunity to speak with so many of our alumnus. I’ve gotten amazing advice from them on how to proceed when I was stressed in deciding which major to pursue or how to land my first internship. They advise to try new things and step out of your comfort zone because we are at the youth age to do so. As Vice President of Alumni Relations, I want to bring back the momentum we had pre-covid and close the gaps between our alumni network and active chapter. I want to serve as the bridge for alumnus to continue sharing experiences and passing down valuable advice.
