Hello Everyone!
We hope you guys have had a summer break! As your Recruitment Chairs, we are excited to show you guys the wonderful events the Psi Nu Chapter has created for us to get to know you. We are excited to have in-person events this semester, with free food, drinks, and networking opportunities!
We know that being from a commuter school, especially during the pandemic, can make it tough to find your community, and we want to be able to help you with just that!
The Psi Nu Chapter is always excited to meet and gain new faces and welcome old ones!
Recruitment starts on February 6th and ends on February 17th, so be sure to check us out!
To qualify for an interview, you must attend at least 1 General Interest Meeting, 1 Professional Event, 1 Social Event, and 1 Philanthropy Event. We hope to see you there!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS RECRUITMENT WEEK?
Recruitment week is a series of events hosted by a fraternity or sorority to engage, meet, and bring in new potential members. It is conducted at the beginning of every Fall and Spring semester.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND EVERY RECRUITMENT EVENT?
It is not mandatory for students to attend every event. However, it is highly recommended. The more events you attend, the more you get to mingle with brothers and leave a lasting impression.
CAN I JOIN IF I AM IN ANOTHER GREEK FRATERNITY/SORORITY?
Alpha Kappa Psi permits members of other Greek social organizations to join.
WHAT IS ALPHA KAPPA PSI'S HAZING POLICY?
Alpha Kappa Psi has zero tolerance for any type of hazing. So to put it in simple terms, there is no hazing.
WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO GET AN INTERVIEW?
To qualify for an interview, each rushee must have attended a total of three events - 1 GIM, 1 Professional, and 1 Philanthropy OR Social event.
ARE WOMEN ALLOWED TO RECRUIT FOR ALPHA KAPPA PSI?
Alpha Kappa Psi is a professional CO-ED business fraternity. Women are certainly permitted to join.
DO I HAVE TO BE A BUSINESS MAJOR TO RUSH?
Although we are a business fraternity, we are opened to students of all majors. Our brothers come from a wide range of majors including English, Actuarial Science, Pre-Med, Political Science, and many more.
IF I DO NOT GET A BID THIS SEMESTER, CAN I RECRUIT AGAIN?
Of Course! Tenacity is a valuable business trait, so students who did not get a bid are encouraged to try again if they want to join Alpha Kappa Psi.
